Actor’s Atelier at La Guillotine, Paris, France

The programme of the Actor’s Atelier in Paris, France, consists of five sessions held in Paris and one session held in Wrocław, Poland. If you are interested in participation in the project, please send your application form by 9 July 2018.
The Paris sessions will take place at La Guillotine, 24 rue Robespierre, 93100 Montreuil. The session in Wrocław will be held at three venues of the Grotowski Institute: Na Grobli Studio, the forest base in Brzezinka and the Bakery Centre for Performing Arts.

Please note that all sessions are conceived as a complex and coherent programme, therefore everyone is required to participate fully in all sessions. It is not possible to attend only one session. Each session will consist of 52 hours of work (including lunch breaks) and each time there will be work within three lines of practice.

The detailed programme of each session in Paris will be provided for participants in September 2018 after the selection process. The detailed programme of the session in Wrocław will be announced in April 2019.
Please note the sessions will be led in English.
The fee for five sessions in Paris and the summer session in Wrocław is 1,800 EUR.
The fee covers participation in work sessions both in Paris and in Wrocław as well as food and accommodation in Wrocław. Please note that the fee does not cover food nor accommodation in Paris.
Payment should be done by bank transfer to the account of the Grotowski Institute in three parts:
500 EUR paid by 15 October 2018
500 EUR paid by 2 January 2019
800 EUR paid by 11 March 2019

All applicants will receive a reply by 15 July 2018. Selected applicants will be invited to a practical audition which will take place on 1–2 September 2018. Practical selection will involve sessions led by the work leaders. The results of the selection process will be announced on 10 September 2018. Number of participants: 14.
